Dreaming of a modern art gallery wedding with colorful Miami vibes? Gina Marie Weddings & Events and photographers Vanessa Velez and Enuel Viera embraced a vibrant and bold color scheme and modern art wedding details for this stunning shoot at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale! The rooftop terrace of the museum not only offered the perfect outdoor venue, but a stunning colorful mural backdrop! This amazing team drew inspiration from the vivid colors, geometric shapes, and modern boho style of the artwork to craft this wedding shoot!
Colorful Miami Vibes for a Modern Wedding
Let’s dive right in to the artistic details, with this stunning brushstroke invitation suite by Brown Dog Paper! The mix of oval paper goods, paint brush details, and combination of coral and peach accents made this gorgeous stationery design a stunning complement to the colorful Miami vibes of the modern art gallery wedding!
The colorful rooftop artwork at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale became the inspiration for the geometric ceremony backdrop! With a bold modern art mural as the focal point, and a vibrant palette of orange, white, red, and splashes of cobalt blue, Gina Marie Weddings & Events decided to go simple for the decor. The geometric backdrop combined a softer ombre color palette with dried baby’s breath to add texture to the curved backdrop panels in a fluffy stripe!
From the bold backdrop to the colorful Miami vibes, everything about this moment just shouts ‘let’s celebrate!’
How stunning is the lace on the dress from Lauderdale Bride! The stunning a-line gown with a romantic statement train was the perfect complement to the bold surroundings of the venue and the groom’s navy blue suit. A dramatic plunging neckline is a beautiful nod to the contemporary style of the modern art gallery venue, while the romantic lace details and classic silhouette still give it a traditional ‘bridal’ feeling! The combination is a beautiful fit for brides who want to reflect their personal style and their more modern venue, without sacrificing the ‘big white dress’ fantasy!
Photographers Vanessa Velez and Enuel Viera managed to capture the exquisite balance between the vivid colors in the modern art backdrop and the softer tones used for the reception table. Pops of peach, yellow, and blush pink accented the flowers by House of Glint, with blue glasses adding cooler tones to the pastel reception decor.
Lovelee Bake Shop kept the three tier cake simple, minimal, and all-white to contrast with the ombre panels and colorful mural backdrop. A clutch of flowers brought in fuchsia, orange, and peach to add a splash of color to the wedding cake to tie in the setting!
The modern bohemian ceremony panels were repurposed from the ceremony backdrop to showcase how wedding day details can be reused throughout the event to create a signature look while keeping decor costs down!
