Colorful Chic Wedding with New Orleans Charm

Moxie Bright Events dreamed up this colorful chic wedding inspiration for her New Orleans design workshop, and I could not be more in love with the bold colors married with playful bridal styling! The vivid flowers from Cece Designs, dreamy wedding dress by Heidi Elnora, and NOLA flair comes together beautifully in these stunning photos from Catherine Guidry!

Cecile’s Paper Co. kicked things off with this blue and gold wedding invitation design that brought in fun details from the New Orleans venue, like sheet music backing and guests opting to RSVP no if they ‘don’t like jazz or beignets’!

Cece Designs created the beautiful and colorful flowers, starting with the bride’s bouquet in bold and muted shades of pink! The silk ribbon from A Ribbon’s Nest added a beautiful note of jewel toned color to the bride’s Heidi Elnora wedding dress.

The Lottie Luxe gown by Heidi Elnora brought the perfect marriage of classic bridal style and a modern glamour to this bride’s look, thanks to a classic a-line silhouette and full organza skirt paired with an elaborately beaded bodice! The deep v-neckline and open back add a flirty touch, while the gorgeously detailed pattern of crystals and pearls finished off with a beaded fringe sleeve!

New Orleans hair and makeup artist, Just Face It, LLC, made sure the bride was every bit as radiant as her surroundings with a fresh, natural face and long waving curls.

The reception style was all about color! The bright and airy reception hall at The Monastery could not have been more perfect to show off the bold blue and array of pinks that made this design pop!

Chic gold decor from Event Rentals Unlimited and blue velvet linens BBJ Linen came together in the perfect tablescape.

Cece Designs created a show stealing centerpiece to top off the beautiful colors of the tabletop! Fuchsia and blush roses, peach sweet peas and poppies, and a hint of coral from hypericum berries came together in the beautiful floral arrangement that tied in with the colorful table decor.

Beignets are a must for a New Orleans wedding, but Gambino’s Bakery also created a wedding cake as a nod to tradition. The navy blue sequin tablecloth added modern sparkle to the dessert table, topped with the classic white cake adorned in gold details and fresh flowers!
