This romantic Floridian wedding is the perfect blend of colorful chic bohemian style with lighthearted personal details! Chelsey and Chad wanted their wedding to serve as an elegant showcase for their playful personalities, and these gorgeous photos from Verance Photography show that they nailed it! The bride’s Lazaro mermaid gown and vibrant jewel toned fall flowers added a glamorous element to their sweet coastal vows and whimsical breakfast for dinner reception!

Colorful Chic Bohemian Glam Wedding

These middle school sweethearts reconnected as adults and four years later Chad proposed at Vilano Beach Pier. Chelsea began planning their laid-back yet stylish wedding day at Walker’s Landing on Amelia Island, opting for a wedding day that combined fun and fabulous style choices! Her vintage glam Lazaro combined an elegant beaded bodice and a full tulle skirt with horsehair trim, which she paired with a long cathedral length veil and a floral headpiece to complement her jewel toned bouquet from Shea Hopely Flowers. Her bridesmaids picked individual maxi dresses from Show Me Your Mumu – the burgundy colors unified the mismatched flowing gowns. Chad and his groomsmen wore navy blue with a three piece suit for the groom and garnet boutonnieres!

Chic details gave their wedding day a timeless elegance, with the macrame and floral adorned ceremony backdrop as a showcase for their bohemian style. Guests were invited to wave ribbon wands as the bridal party walked down the aisle, adding a sweetly personal touch to their heartfelt ceremony. They found their seats with a charming seed packet escort card display asking them to ‘Please Be Seeded’. At the reception, modern geometric candleholders and glitter table numbers added a modern metallic touch to the high beamed wooden ceilings and parquet floors. Their gorgeous cake table made for a beautiful reception centerpiece – the macrame dreamcatcher hanging over their naked cake topped with fall flowers matched the vintage lace tablecloth from the bride’s grandmother! They served a breakfast for dinner menu that tied in to their fun and colorful donut wall, along with mimosa cocktails and personalized newspapers with details about their wedding day and relationship! After a fun Major League-inspired vignette by the bridal party to honor the bride’s father (and softball coach) the bride and groom made a colorful splash at their grand exit, with guests waving rainbow glow sticks!
