Classic Royal Blue Wedding from Maru Photography

Today’s a good day – we’re half way to the weekend, and I have a classic royal blue wedding from HWL favorite, Maru Photography! Alana and Josh were college sweethearts, but they returned to Alana’s hometown in British Columbia to celebrate their wedding with their nearest and dearest.  They chose Newlands Golf and Country Club for their ceremony and reception after falling in love with the bright, open conservatory space. It certainly didn’t hurt that the club is a full-service venue – they provided the flowers, cake, and DJ  in addition to hosting the wedding!

Alana chose a classic, elegant style inspired by vintage weddings, along with prominent pops of royal blue, her favorite color! Her sweet, beaded gown received a modern lift from her vivid blue shoes, to match the bridesmaids’ dresses. The bride and groom’s favorite part? The vintage 1966 Ford Thunderbird Convertible! Alana grew up taking long, summer drives in her father’s beloved car, making it the perfect addition to their wedding!
