We could all use a little extra joy this holiday season and these Christmas puppies are here to deliver! Massachusetts event planner and designer Jessica Hennessey Weddings knew that was the best way to spread cheer, and together with Rachel Buckley Weddings and Lauren Dobish Photography, combined the sweetest adoptable dogs with a rustic New England winter wedding at a Christmas tree farm! Sweet puppy faces, rescue dogs, and a gorgeous holiday wedding combine into something extra special for the season. The rustic romance of a tree farm combined with jewel tone silk and velvet bridesmaid dresses, wreath bouquets, and a cable knit frosted cake!
Who wouldn’t want one of these sweet puppies under their tree this holiday season? Rescue animal foundations Brown Dog Coalition and Survivor Tails brought together some of their adoptable dogs to give a glimpse of the sweet puppies looking for homes this holiday season.
A slim silhouette and a little sparkle – those are the hallmarks of one of my favorite bridal designers, Theia Couture! The beaded pattern on this frosted dress is perfect for a winter wedding, especially paired with weathered saltbox shingles and Fraser fir trees from the family-run Christmas Tree Farm in Pembroke, MA.
Luxe jewel tone bridesmaid dresses in velvet and silk added dreamy texture and vibrant tones of garnet, persimmon, cinnamon, and ruby. The Jenny Yoo brought warm tones to the chilly New England winter wedding. The rustic flower wreaths were a gorgeous bouquet alternative but the Christmas puppies are the best way to accessorize these gowns!
I’m a huge advocate of ‘adopt, don’t shop’, and seeing these sweet, adoptable dog faces only reinforces that!
Imagine one of these darlings under your Christmas tree! How sweet are they? As adorable as puppies can be, there are lots of older dogs who are looking for their forever home, and I am not woman enough to resist that loving face!
Coast and Country Rentals set a long farm table in between the live fir trees growing on the Christmas tree farm to create the perfect rustic setting.
Beach Plum Floral & Event Design paired black chargers and white china, linen napkins and pine embellishments with a jewel-toned holiday garland centerpiece. Fresh ruby red grapefruit, pomegranates, and winter citrus added pops of color to the festive greenery and beeswax candles lining the long table.
I am obsessed with all things cable knit, and this amazing knitted cake decorating technique by Delicious Desserts combines gorgeous and cozy in the best way! The white sweater knit cake was displayed on a vintage sleigh and surrounded by fir boughs for the perfect winter dessert.
What rustic New England winter wedding would be complete without a vintage pick up truck? The cherry red truck made the perfect bed for these sweet Christmas puppies looking for their forever homes!
Cuddle up! Wishing you a wonderful, safe, and joyful holiday season this year!
