Cheers to fabulous 2014! I’m ringing in the New Year with champagne wedding inspiration filled with shimmering sequins and rich, pomegranate purple. New Year’s inspiration tends to default to black and gold, a lovely festive combination, but I wanted to do something a little different. Why not celebrate with the practically official drink of the holiday, and do something inspired by the ever festive flute of champagne?
From the gown, to the linens, to the cake, a fabulous, shimmering champagne hue is easy to incorporate throughout a wedding, apart from the toast. While I’ve gained new appreciation for neutrals, long-time readers know that I love to pair pale shades with hints of something rich and vivid. I’d love to see a luxurious pomegranate purple play counter to pale champagne for a perfectly chic winter wedding or party to ring in the coming year. However you choose to celebrate, I wish you a wonderful and happy 2014!
