It’s not every day you get to go chasing desert light, but this dreamy Nevada elopement by the Cactus Collective and Ashley Creative showcases the stunning play of light as the sun sets over the mesas. Adding a stunning floral arch ceremony created a beautiful micro-wedding destination in the stunning expanse of the desert, allowing Carrie Pollard Photography to showcase this ethereal fine art wedding outside Cactus Joe’s iconic cactus garden!

What could be more special for a stunning micro wedding or destination elopement than a custom wedding dress? This stunning blush pink wedding dress by Sophia Rose Bridal echoed the colors of sun setting over the desert, with a long, flowing skirt that fluttered in the hot Nevada winds. This glorious gown is the perfect pick for a destination elopement dress, combining whimsical romance with delicate beaded details on the bodice. Ruby Finch Salon played off the flowing winds and relaxed mini-wedding style by giving the bride loose curls for a long bridal hairstyle.

City Blossoms LV never fails to impress with magical flowers that transform the dry and arid desert, and the dusty rose and mauve tones of these stunning wedding florals are no exception! The bride’s lush garden bouquet picked up the blush and rose tones in her airy wedding dress, adding neutral notes from toffee and cappuccino roses!

The groom’s suit paired a tan suit jacket with khaki dress pants from Stitched Las Vegas – the neutral tones were a perfect fit for a less formal wedding day without feeling too casual for photos! Adding a flower patterned tie from DAZI USA gave his wedding day attire the perfect contrast and fun flair!

The flower arch was a masterful floral ceremony backdrop, paired with gorgeous studded linen chairs to create a statement aisle in the middle of the wide expanse. Greenery aisle decor seemed to sprout out of the sand, creating a gorgeous contrast to the desert venue.

For the intimate desert reception, Ashley Creative went neutral, neutral, neutral. Mauve and cappuccino roses created a romantic flower runner down the center of the long white dining table, draped with an ethereal sheer silk linen. The French country linen and antiqued wood chairs added an elegant touch, as did the calligraphy and watercolor menu card and each stoneware place setting.

Time for more golden light! The sky turned blush, mauve, and amber as the sun continued to set over the desert and create a stunning portrait session away from the lights of Las Vegas.
