The end of summer couldn’t come fast enough this year, but thanks to the most stunning caramel fall colors, this country estate wedding in the Berkshires feels like the best way to celebrate the changing season! Helen Xue Photography attended the Ruffled Social at The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Massachusetts home, to capture this colorful and creative way to shift from sunny summer colors to the changing leaves and pumpkin spice of fall!
Late summer into early fall has always been one of the most beautiful transitions of the year, and this color palette captures it perfectly! The stunning mix of coral, caramel, sunny yellow, and harvest gold come together in every detail, from the velvet ribbon accents on the invitations designed by Paper Tree Studio to the sweet citrus colors of the bridal bouquet by Devon and Pinkett! Fresh fall colors are a stunning way to embrace the season with this end of summer wedding shoot!
When it comes to a fall wedding at an estate in the Berkshires, there’s no doubt you have to go for classic autumn colors! This gorgeous bouquet with additions of dusty coral, marigold, and sunny yellow added a perfect twist to bring in the last shades of summer in the most stunning way. The romantic blooms complemented the floral lace detailing on the Eisen Stein Bridal dress to create the perfect bridal look in these stunning fine art photos Helen Xue Photography captured at the Ruffled social!
The historic 1920’s estate in the Berkshires was designed by Edith Wharton – as the first female novelist to win the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, she’s a ground-breaking figure to be sure! Her aristocratic background and artistic bent are on full display in her stunning country retreat. The exquisite turn of the century styling and beautiful upkeep makes it a romantic choice for a country estate wedding venue.
The design team embraced the dusty green garden trellis for the ceremony backdrop, accenting the classic space with yellow, pink and coral flowers to offset the groom’s caramel fall suit! The result was a stunning autumn wedding ceremony outside in the crisp air of upstate Massachusetts in the fall!
Allaire Rentals and Lovely Luxe Rentals are used to dressing elegant society weddings in the Berkshires, and this lovely fall reception was no exception! The team brought organic detailing to the reception flowers, adding moss and vines to create a table runner that grew straight out of the ground! Succulents, peonies, and other late summer flowers added to the table decor with cinnamon-colored candles in tall holders, gold-edged china patterns and Lenox flatware to create a stunning design on the floral print table linens!
Talk about designing for your surroundings! With towering wings of white brick and stunning blue shutters, The Mount could not have been a more perfect backdrop for the groom’s caramel suit! The striking photos popped thanks to the alternative use of color that made the couple a stunning focal point!
The cake by Autumn Nomad wasn’t going to let the rest of the wedding design steal the show! The exquisitely ruffled cake combined dusty blue frosting and coral flower accents to celebrate color and whimsical fall charm in the most gorgeous way!
