Ready for an epic Vegas weekend? Little did Sarah know that her Girl’s Trip to Sin City would introduce her to the love of her life, leading to a long-distance relationship, a move, and then this bespoke Vegas wedding where the bride and groom both wore flowers! They blended their East Coast meets West Coast styles to create a romantic garden wedding with a view of the desert that came off to perfection thanks !o Shannon Elizabeth Photography and Tailored Events!
A chance encounter outside Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas brought Sarah and Garrett together while the bride-to-be was in town for a Girl’s Weekend! They exchanged numbers and the weekend lead into a long distance relationship before Sarah made the move to Nevada to be with her soon-to-be husband! When he knew he was ready to propose, Garrett asked Sarah to marry him in the exact spot where he first laid eyes on her 2 years earlier – outside of the Chandelier Bar inside of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas!
The couple’s vision for their wedding day blended rustic and bohemian details with romantic colors, and incorporated elements of Garrett’s Hawaiian heritage. The couple chose Dragon Ridge Country Club for the ceremony and reception to suit Sarah’s love of the outdoors – and Garrett’s love for golf!
City Blossoms LV worked with them to translate the rich and romantic details they envisioned into their flowers, pairing creamy Cappuccino roses with burgundy dahlias and ranunculus to create a vintage-inspired palette.
One of the highlights of Sarah’s wedding day memories was the First Look photos that she shared with her father before the ceremony!
Their burgundy and blush palette continued for the bridesmaids, with a mix and match selection of blush dresses paired with flower patterns and garnet red.
They held the ceremony outdoors on the golf course to take advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoy the surrounding nature. The lush grounds of Dragon Ridge Country Club gave way to the Nevada desert in the background for a dramatic view! The ceremony arch was covered in flowers and greenery to create a beautiful backdrop for their outdoor vows.
The bride and groom both wore flowers for their wedding day! The groom wore a lei in Hawaiian tradition and the bride topped her long lace veil with a flower crown to keep her look romantic and bohemian.
This pair could not have looked more stunning on their wedding day! Sarah loved her delicate lace wedding dress with dainty gold jewelry that included family heirlooms. The groom wore a bespoke burgundy tux that included their wedding date embroidered in the lining near his heart!
Their indoor reception created a cozy, rustic atmosphere with wood farm tables, candles in hurricane lamps, and low garden centerpieces. They added custom labels to wine bottles so they doubled as table numbers, and the favors each had a personalized tag to let guests know their seat and dinner selection!
They opted for a simple wedding cake that absolutely stunned with the details – the white deckle edged tiers were dressed up with a cascade of greenery and white flowers, and one of the couple’s favorite details was their laser cut ‘Love You to the Moon and Back’ celestial cake topper!
Shannon Elizabeth Photography switched effortlessly to moody portraits to capture the flower arch that now stood as the backdrop for their Sweetheart Table! The couple absolutely stunned with their First Dance, ending with a dip, a kiss, and fireworks!
They chose a cover of a Benny Benassi EDM song for their first dance, “Cinema” by Jason Evigan. They also had one of the bride’s sisters perform “Treasure” by Bruno Mars!
They kept the mood fun and turned the reception into a party, with Margarita and Old Fashioned signature cocktails, a cigar bar, and a late night delivery from In-N-Out Burger! They gifted guests with morning after recovery kits as favors!
