Infuse your wedding day with bold modern colors in this dynamic shoot from 36th Street Events and The Editorial Series! The vibrant combination of red, orange, and yellow flowers with a crisp white bridal suit and minimalist wedding dress for this gorgeous LGBTQ couple. The Austin, Texas, wedding venue brought old world charm and modern style to this colorful and creative wedding day inspiration, pairing drama from Remi and Gold‘s floral design with dreamy natural light photos by Esther Makau Photography.
How to use bold modern colors in your wedding day
These bold modern colors add a dramatic punch, plus a burst of sunny energy! The dynamic combination of marigold yellow, burnt orange, red, and coral added vibrant color to this chic gray on white minimalist invitation design by Pink Champagne Designs. White wax seals, pressed flower paper, and pops of color from the envelope gave the invitation suite beautiful details to catch the eye.
Add a little sparkle with your bridal accessories! From the beaded dazzle of the Bella Belle Shoes and the jaw-dropping emerald cut gemstone ring, these fabulous finishing details ae the perfect counterpoint to minimalist and simple bridal looks!
Same sex couples always face an extra challenge when it comes to picking out their wedding attire, but these gorgeous brides knocked it out of the park! A crisp, bespoke white bridal suit from Suit Shop and a minimalist WAYF Clothing dress both combined clean and simple lines with a chic tailored look, giving the couple a unified style while allowing both brides to let their personality shine!
Although the exterior of Austin wedding venue The Grand Lady is the epitome of classic elegance, the modern event hall was the perfect ceremony backdrop for this bold and contemporary design! Texas florist Remi and Gold dressed the space with minimalist white pillars and cascades of vibrant flowers. The architectural floral design included arcs of white orchids, popping against a rainbow of roses in toffee, peach, coral, orange, and red.
Esther Makau Photography used the natural light to capture these amazing wedding photos, playing off the tones of white from the walls and both brides’ attire.
To play off the Mid Century vibes of the event hall and let the spectacular architecture set the scene, designer 36th Street Events sourced an acrylic dining table from Strong Events to create a minimalist yet striking reception design. The clear tabletop made an airy canvas to display the ikebana-style flower arrangements and modern pottery vases. White and gold place settings allowed the vibrant red and orange centerpieces to pop against the modern backdrop!
How perfect is this colorful accent wall to show off the spectacular cake and desserts from Morgan Pearl Cakes? The architectural white wedding cake looked like a visual treat with four round tiers and cascading sugar sails and fluttering coral petals. The dynamic yellow wall created a beautiful backdrop for the clear acrylic dessert table from Premiere Events Austin, set with trays of fluffy cream puffs and thematically colored macarons.
Who doesn’t love a bridal suit! This chic, tailored non-traditional wedding dress alternative is a stunning look for a bride who wants something a little different than a classic white dress.
