This team drew on the natural beauty of the venue at Gardener Ranch to create this gorgeous Carmel wedding!

This venue is a gem nestled in the heart of Carmel Valley where the Carmel Valley River meets the rolling hills and towering oak trees. With 24 acres of majestic oaks and sprawling, lush meadows to play with, this venue is an absolute dream for any bride looking to embrace the natural grace of the outdoors. Planner + Designer, Kendall of Kendall Melissa Events was inspired by the lushness of the ranch and drawing on the hues of the gorgeous sunsets that shine through the live oaks.

How amazing are the bell sleeves on this lace wedding dress – perfect for a bohemian ranch wedding! The 70’s inspired wedding dress made a dramatic statement with the perfect hippie sleeves to add romance to the bridal bouquet of sunflowers, protea, dahlias, and autumn grasses.

Throughout the day, Sarahi Hadden Photography played with the light that seemed to follow the bride throughout the property. The golden hue highlighted the bohemian-inspired gown from Epiphany Boutique in Carmel. The bride looked effortlessly boho-chic in the long flowing patterned lace dress. with a plunging neckline, laced-up back, and dramatic flowing sleeves.

One of the venue’s iconic California oak trees became the focal point for a bohemian ranch wedding ceremony. Brass lanterns and a pampas grass altar arrangement added the perfect mix of organic and metallic textures to stand out against the lush landscape.

The picturesque landscape provided the perfect backdrop for highlighting the bold and textural florals that H and J Flowers designed. For our ceremony vignette, we featured the majestic live oak that sprawls out hovering just above the lush grasses. They created a stunning ceremony altar made of tall, exotic pampas grasses, dried sun spear palms, dried bunny tails, eucalyptus, and pops of burnt orange and sunset hues. This jaw-dropping altar stood out amongst the lush, green grass, and natural wood of the oak tree. Pulling from our sunset inspiration, she expertly brought together the earthy, bold colors naturally occurring in the Dahlias, Garden Roses, Banksia Protea, Zinnia, Sunflowers, and Amaranthus that created the altarpiece. 

This magical light is a testament to the beauty of Carmel Valley and the exquisite talent of fine art photographer Sarahi Hadden! She used Photovision Prints to capture those rich jewel tones in her film portraits for this boho ranch wedding!

How unique is this gorgeous bohemian ranch wedding reception? The wooden arbor and farm table from Chic Event Rental created a colorful dinner party setting, with rattan lanterns doubling as lighting and hanging centerpieces to add color and greenery overhead.

Gold flatware and a layered place setting created a mix of textures on the rustic wood tabletop, with a bold burnt orange napkin for a pop of coral! Woven rattan place mats tied in with the natural elements that made each detail feel totally organic to the bohemian ranch setting. Vintage orange goblets added warm amber tones and played off the centerpieces of garden roses, dahlias, and zinnias in sunset colors.

How about the most unique Sweetheart Table! The living tree arch created an amazing frame for an intimate dinner table for the bride and groom. Couples planning a Central Coast elopement will love this gorgeous focal point for dramatic wedding photos!

Time for cake! Emma Cakery created a colorful dessert table, with live edge wood rounds to display an assortment of delicious treats! Gold mercury candle holders added metallic sparkle to the rustic wood textures and dupioni silk runner, creating a vibrant fall color scheme that echoed the layered cake. White frosting, deckled edge coral tiers, and edible metallic gold foil gave the gorgeous wedding cake a signature look!

The perfect pieces for a boho ranch wedding lounge? Think rich color with a fuchsia velvet tufted couch and dusty pink chairs, paired with textural woven mats and an arabesque carved table. The ceremony tree arrangement and a live edge wooden table made for the perfect seating area to take in the natural beauty of the venue!
