Anyone who loves fall like I do will appreciate the careful color choices that went into this spectacular wedding day! Shades of terra cotta, cinnamon rose, gold, and emerald green created a layered palette that combined traditional autumn colors along with some lighter, more romantic hues. The couple chose a crisp white pen and ink invitation set by The Longest Time Design with line illustrations of the barn at their venue, along with the mountain peaks that would form their ceremony backdrop.
Bride Jennifer found her dream dress for a bohemian mountain wedding at Lovely Bride DC. The Rue De Seine Bridal Avril gown made a gorgeous statement against the fall hills spreading from the ceremony terrace, thanks to the eye-catching boho lace design layered over a cream slip to make the patterned dress pop! Her bridal party wore white bridesmaid dresses in individual silhouettes, creating the perfect contrast against the brisk blue sky and colorful fall hills.
The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of peach and white flowers with pops of color from vibrant fall leaves!
Jennifer and Dale tied the knot in a stunning ceremony overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway. Their bohemian mountain wedding made sure to incorporate the beautiful surroundings, with On A Limb Florals‘ colorful foliage and branch archways leading down the aisle and to the altar. The flagstone terrace was dressed with vibrant autumn flowers and fringed pampas grass to create a beautiful ceremony backdrop and lead into the breathtaking forest and hills beyond.
The talented lens of Sidney Leigh Photography brought the focus from the stunning mountain view to this equally striking couple for their big day! These sweet moments are ones the college sweethearts can treasure for their life together! After originally meeting their Freshman year at West Virginia University, the pair drifted apart over the years and lost touch. They met up again by chance in Maryland, and instantly felt that old spark reignite. This time, the couple had matured and grown, and eventually they overcame long distance dating to live together in New York.
This couple had the perfect bohemian mountain wedding style, from the bride’s stunning boho chic lace long sleeve dress to the groom’s crisp navy blue suit. Hairstylist Top Knot Studio and Shenoa Nicole Makeup let the dress do the talking, styling the bride with long wavy curls and a jeweled feather hair clip to sweep back the side that would face her guests during the vows!
Guests found their place with the glass jug seating chart, with each attendants’ name and table assignment hand lettered on aqua blown glass vessels, displaying not on the seating assignments but an assortment of fall foliage and flowers to tie in with the bohemian mountain decor.
Although the air was turning crisp outside, it was cozy inside the barn at The Seclusion. Honey-toned wood farm tables were dressed with burnt orange silk runners and tablecloths, along with gold velvet napkins and amber glass goblets. Runners down the long tables held small clusters of seasonal flowers and grasses, or long and low arrangements surrounded by taper candles and autumn fruit. Fall leaf chandeliers added vibrant fireworks of color overhead and brought the bohemian mountain style indoors!
