Blue and Gold Tuscan Charm for a Historic Garden Wedding

Bohemia Ranch Events brought the Old World elegance of the estate out into the courtyard and gardens with stunning vignettes of vintage pieces that truly embraced the beauty this venue has to offer!

The warm colors in this Tuscan-inspired wedding day took inspiration from the fall leaves and brick Garden House that created the stunning setting at the historic estate. Sarahi Hadden picked up those rich tones in the stunning yellow roses and dusty blue velvet ribbons from Party Crush Studio to add to the Old World elegance of the venue in every detail.

Hair stylist Shea Styles gave the bride a side braid with a crystal hair vine to play off the romantic yet whimsical style of her dress from lace and tulle wedding dress from Brides On Hartz.

Le Bloomerie dressed up the beautiful brick and vine facade of the Garden House with an organic flower arch that blended in with the dreamy elegance of the formal gardens.

She used Honey Dijon and Koko Loko roses to add rich Tuscan gold charm, along with creamy yellow Romantic Antike, Golden Mustard, and Light Apricot Crocus roses, with Italian Ruscus greenery.

This stunning spot in the estate gardens was the perfect backdrop for an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony, and this talented Northern California wedding team wisely built off the changing greenery and vines on the brick pavilion to make the ceremony feel like the perfect fit for the grounds.

The grand entry courtyard of the Filoli Estate – which might look familiar from films like The Wedding Planner, Rent, and George of the Jungle – was a grand setting for the cozy wedding reception.

With the wisteria vine hung entryway and the encircling brick wings of the historic mansion, the team embraced warm blue and gold Tuscan colors for the rustic wood table and vineyard wood chairs.

Dusty blue taper candles and handmade paper menus added a wash of soothing color to the romantic amber, yellow, and white colors of the flower arrangements and glassware. An airy silk table runner added romantic texture, with fresh berries and lace patterned china to give the table details a special finish.

The golden sunshine and cypress trees on the back terrace of the manor set the perfect setting for cocktails and cake! Emma Cakery created a beautiful four-tier dessert with gilded ruffles and sugar blossoms. A vintage pedestal table with a marigold yellow silk runner created a stunning display for this beautiful wedding day moment.

Bohemia Ranch Events embraced the beautiful history of the estate to create a reception lounge with warm and inviting vintage chairs and settees. The dusty gold velvet pillows and scalloped occasion table created a cozy place for the couple to drink in the moment – and their champagne!

The Filoli gardens are one of my favorite places to visit in the Bay Area – regardless of the season! It’s beautiful to see the changing leaves and fall fruit add to the Italian-style formal gardens of the estate and orchards, with the Santa Cruz Mountains rising behind them.
