The blend of hues in today’s blue, burgundy, and bronze spring wedding shoot is exactly the kind of color palette makes me fall in love! Samantha Kirk Photography and KMK Design created this beauty of a shoot at The Miners Foundry, marrying the rich natural textures of the old stone hall with a garden’s worth of fresh spring blooms.
The unfinished walls of Northern California’s Miner’s Foundry reflected the candlelight surrounding the enormous stone hearth. Lush floral arrangements made of delphinium, anemones, and deep burgundy foliage lined the great farm table at the center of the room, with a hint of sparkle from burgundy beaded ribbons at each place setting. Bell jars covered sprigs of grape hyacinth, while living bulbs of the pale blue flowers were tucked into the bride’s bouquet, the folded napkins, and even the groom’s boutonniere.
The delicate floral motif was carried onto the bride’s beaded veil, a delicate crown to the cap sleeves and flowing chiffon skirt of Chaviano Couture’s Vitalia wedding dress. The ethereal textures of the bride’s attire made for a romantic contrast with the venue’s rough hewn hall and ivy hung walls.
The entire table design is stunning!
