The rich beauty of fall takes center stage in this autumn woodland wedding shoot from Archetype Studio and Rebecca Rose Events. Even though it’s still summer, I could not be more excited for sweater weather and hot toddies, and this gorgeous shoot celebrates the incredible majesty of fall in the countryside.
The woods surrounding the manor had just begun to deepen in harvest gold, providing inspiration for the color palette of the shoot. Natural autumn hues infused every detail, from the bride’s taupe lace Enzoani wedding dress to the grand Head Table set in front of the manor. Fall florals in silvery green, ivory, ochre, and burgundy graced the King’s Table, set with vintage brass candelabras and an elegant lace overlay. Every detail of the shoot was infused with the flavors of fall, from a cake topped with fresh pomegranate seeds to champagne flutes garnished with cranberry and mint.
There’s a gorgeous juxtaposition between the wild, barefoot bride running through the forest and the elegance of the country manor. Twickenham House, an English manor nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, offered a classical facade in red brick as well as stunning views of the valley below.
