I’ve got a bit of a throwback today – to my current most popular Pin – an astronomy themed wedding board! This board was one of my favorite from this summer, before the official launch of the Hey Wedding Lady blog, and it has been so excited to see it become the favorite of so many of my followers on Pinterest! I’ve already revisited another favorite astronomy themed wedding board, but this one has a unique take with a palette of indigo, blush, and antique gold. Rather than going too overt (if a giant moon cutout can be called anything but ‘overt’), I wanted to bring in the astronomy theme in subtle ways. A watercolor print by Shanna Murray gave me the inspiration for my color palette, along with the gorgeous gold lace of the Sarah Seven dress. The stunning bouquet by Mimi Nicole Events in blush with hints of burgundy rounded out the vintage inspired color palette, reminiscent of 50’s soirees. A similarly vintage-inspired cake topper by The First Snowfall, strands of bistro lighting, and a brush embroidered cake by The Caketress were the perfect finishing touches!

Oh my goodness, this is positively divine!! I agree with everyone, this is perfection in every little way!
Lovely! I badly want to see a real bride pull this theme off!
Me too! It’s so fun to see them come to life!
I can’t even handle the love I have for this. So I pretty much want to live in all of your inspiration boards… is there rent involved? 🙂
There is – I charge 3 cat pics per month
Why, that can certainly be arranged. 😉
Wow, that was easy! I’m tacking on one book discussion to your rent
This is really, really pretty!
Wow! I can see why this is so popular – what a lovely, lovely theme.
I can see why this has so many fans – and please count me among them! It’s so lovely how the blush and gold balances the indigo – I love that inky color!
Me too! I’ve fallen back in love with indigo recently – it doesn’t get enough play
This is so romantic and cute – I can see why it’s so popular! Enchanting inspiration indeed 🙂
That’s so funny! I have a palette in the works that includes those newlyweds sitting on the moon – love this version! Very creative.
How crazy! I adore that moon silhouette – I can’t wait to see how you use it!
These colors together are perfect! So elegant and chic!
Thank you, thank you, Krisstin!
There is no doubt in my mind why this is a personal favorite of yours! I love the black and gold dinnerware paired with the pretty romantic flower centerpieces. It’s a perfect combination of starry night and classic wedding romance!
Thank you! Isn’t that place setting amazing? I absolutely love the florals Mimi Nicole Events did for that shoot!
