Art Deco Meets Modern Wedding Ideas

Bold geometric backdrops in brushed gold managed to perfectly suit the Art Deco patterns while being perfectly on trend, while the glamorous lace wedding dress is a fabulous modern day take on a slinky 1920’s gown! To create this beautiful marriage of 1920’s style meets modern-day Los Angeles chic, the team opted for several eye-catching focal points throughout the venue at The York Manor. The soaring white cathedral space was filled by a geometric gold ceremony backdrop and dozens of taper candles – a custom monogram sign by Z Create Design added a personal touch!

For the reception, the eye was immediately drawn to the Sweetheart Table, a modern installation of giant LOVE letters. Bold red and purple centerpieces by Flower and Sugar Events added color to the white and gold decor, with blush lace tablecloths and Art Deco inspired table numbers to add a touch of vintage romance to the guest tables. A gold and marble cake table kept to the geometric theme, while the three tier cake by Roobina’s Cake caught the eye with gold brushwork and 3-D sugar flowers! The most fun craft beer bar from Draft in Style made sure the bar looked just as chic as the rest of the party!

How does the bride ensure she is the center of attention with so many amazing details to draw the eye? A fitted lace wedding dress combined 1920’s inspired lace with a gorgeously dramatic fit to steal the show!  Ruth B Medrano Beauty created a romantic vintage-inspired updo as well as long curls to pair with a veil on a vintage inspired bridal headpiece to accent the open back and long cathedral train! A dramatic orchid bouquet added a splash of jewel toned color to the blush and ivory lace gown!
