Alpine Wedding in Austria from Wedding Memories

Are you prepared to get swept off your feet and right into the weekend? Because this alpine wedding from Wedding Memories is full of heart stopping views of the Austrian mountains, the most picturesque village ever, and one blissful couple. Sandy and Martin were wed in a lovely village chapel in the Tyrolean mountains. The countryside surrounding the stone church is full of spreading apple orchards bearing gorgeous fruit, and just beyond them – the heartstopping view of the Alps. These enchanting mountains happen to be one of my favorite places in the world, and I was so excited to feature their stunning wedding day!

The village chapel may have looked simple from outside, but indoors is another story. The white and gold interior boasts beautiful Catholic iconography, accented with cheerful sunflowers in a nod to the autumn season. Sandy and Martin exchanged hammered gold rings before walking out of the church under a joyous arch of red roses held overhead by their loved ones! After the ceremony, Wedding Memories accompanied them through the orchards and fields, the soaring views of the valley always in their view. As the sun began to set over the surrounding peaks, they made their way to the Brenner Alm, a cozy mountain chalet tucked into the meadows of the Wilder Kaiser region.

The warm wood interior is outfitted with an enormous rustic chandelier, and rows and rows of trestle tables with carved benches for guests. The massive hand carved and painted fireplace created a cozy ambiance as guests ate traditional Tyrolean cuisine at the family style tables, before enjoying the rock band late into the night!
