When this real couple realized their Italian wedding plans might not work out, Amanda Wose Photography and Social Graces Events helped them realize their dream with a Tuscan style elopement closer to home! They found a beautiful winery in Maryland with a Tuscan villa setting, pairing the beautiful surroundings with a terra cotta, green, and peach color palette that brought in the warmth of the Italian countryside!
Handmade paper elements added to the Old World feel of the wedding style, with deckled edge invitations and white ink calligraphy by Line Avenue. Wax seals and a sprinkle of white lilac blossoms added to the country charm of the details and carried into the flowers by Days Of Mays Floral. The bride’s bouquet created an ombre effect with shades of coral, pink, peach, and white. Ruffled ranunculus, sweet peas, and white lilac all added to the romantic look of the garden flowers.
The winery terrace featured a gorgeous portico with rounded arches overlooking the spreading vineyards, creating a Tuscan style setting for an al fresco dinner reception! The natural wood farm table and light wood chairs from Something Vintage Rentals created a gorgeous canvas for a table runner of colorful flowers, pottery accents, and fresh fruit!
The ombre green handmade stoneware plates, gold and lucite flatware, and pink Depression glasses added gorgeous color and texture to the natural wood tabletop and gauze runner. Candles in hurricane vases nestled among the centerpieces of pink, peach, and white flowers, creating an organic garden arrangement of roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, and white lilacs.
To add a memorable and personal detail, a vintage bar cart doubled as the cake display! Rose Vanilla‘s buttercream flower cake picked up the beautiful details in the reception centerpieces and the floral swag on the vintage gold bart cart. The white buttercream cake was displayed on a pink Depression glass stand with a ruffled edge to add an even more romantic detail! The cake topper of frosting flowers was almost too pretty to eat!
Since they would have to wait a little longer to bike ride through the Tuscan countryside, the couple incorporated a retro bicycle into their design! A wicker basket filled with their wedding flowers turned it from a cute detail into a personal touch for their Tuscan style elopement!
