There’s only one thing as wonderful as actually waking up in Italy this morning, and that’s this gorgeous Tuscan bridal shoot from Mike Larson Photography and Carol Hannah Bridal! An Italian castle, high above the village of Serre di Rapolano, served as a stunning setting for the delicate, architectural details of the gowns.
I love the artful juxtaposition of Carol Hannah’s impeccably constructed gowns against the historical architecture of the castle. The expansive grounds and breathtaking views are reason enough to swoon over this shoot, while the beautifully styled bride is icing on the cake. The historical seat of Castello delle Serre set the tone for the shoot, from a warm neutral palette to the astonishing beauty of the hilltop estate.
The gowns chosen reflected the beauty of the Italian countryside, from the graceful lines and whimsical floral detailing of the l’Elysee gown, to the exquisitely crafted details of the Belmont. Both beauty and extraordinary skill define the marvels of the region, the sweeping pastoral landscapes dotted with villages and churches that have stood as a testament to time and the incredible skill of the craftsmen. Playful headpieces by LoBoheme played off the unquestionable romance of the bridal looks, adding the whimsy of feathers or the subtle sparkle of a Deco inspired fascinator.
