boho fall decor for an industrial wedding
This antique rug flatlay hints at the rich colors and minimalist modern design to come! East + West Designs created the elegant lettered motif that created the invitations, signage, and paper goods throughout the shoot, and displaying them on one of the altar rugs brought in the rich orange, teal, and yellow of the color scheme!
Boho Fall Decor for a Reclaimed Warehouse Wedding Ceremony
The exposed brick walls of The Millbottom was the perfect reclaimed backdrop for the boho fall decor of this stunning ceremony! Nephew and Co. turned hanging string lights and copper piping into a beautiful altarpiece, thanks to flower arrangements of orange, ochre, peach, and yellow, with fluffy pampas grass and trailing vines to create a stunning autumn wedding ceremony.
The bride’s epic bouquet combine fall flowers like chrysanthemums, dahlias, and roses with fronds of dried grass and foraged seed pods to create a stunning arrangement, hand tied and finished with a mustard yellow ribbon. Her modified A-line wedding dress created a classic juxtaposition with the rustic industrial venue, giving her the perfect bridal focus agains the raw brick backdrop. Hair stylist and makeup artist Jennifer Pritchett played with the sweetness of her gown and the edgy space to create a unique fishtail braid half-up hairstyle that framed the bride’s face in soft curls and played off the open back of her wedding dress!
In keeping with the moody style of the shoot, the groom wore a black on black ensemble from Samuel’s Tuxedos.
The boho fall decor of this stunning ceremony blends bright autumn colors with dark elements to perfectly capture the changing seasons and bring cozy charm to the vast industrial venue.
Kelsi Kliethermes Photography had plenty of room to play with unique wedding photo poses and ideas thanks to the sprawling venue! The former power plant showcases the history of Jefferson City, MO, as one of the oldest standing buildings.
Socially Distanced Wedding Reception Design
Serpentine tables were ahead of their time for a social distance wedding reception! The long and winding tables can keep guests at a safe distance while still creating a sense of togetherness.
The classic fall color palette of orange and black had bright pops from yellow flowers, jewel-like greenery runners, and moody dark brown glass jars repurposed as flower vases! Antique candleholders added the glow of taper candles to the autumn evening, and copper pipe table number holders echoed the industrial ceremony decor for a creative finishing touch!
The ceremony flowers were repurposed for the bar decor, with vines framing the craft cocktail set up by Revel! Bourbon and blackberry, classic Old Fashioneds, and other smoky autumn flavors were introduced on East + West Designs‘ linen flag menu!
As the days grow shorter and night sets in early, a cozy lounge area becomes a must have! Vintage chairs and settees from Pretty Little Things created an inviting area to cuddle up once the day gets darker.
Sweet Creations by Joy created a simple wedding cake to suit the atmospheric style of the boho fall decor, adding a harvest touch with dried grass fronds and scattered seeds, along with a silk ribbon that echoes the bride’s bouquet!
