One of the places I’ve been dreaming about while self-isolating are the gardens of the Filoli Estate! The incomparable Alice Che Photography and Brannan Events & Design captured the magic of the estate in this enchanted garden retreat wedding shoot with dusty pink and emerald green details to echo the verdant grounds. A mix of vintage details and California chic style, along with lush botanical flower decor by Tumbleweed Floral Design makes this walk through the gardens a breathtaking escape!

Their flatlay game is strong! Jen Che Designs‘ dusty rose and emerald green invitations received the royal treatment with these beautiful garden vignettes. The stationery found the perfect blend of elegant and modern, with an updated monogram in embossed gold lettering on the plum invitations.

Getting ready photos have never looked quite this good! A blush pink lingerie set and green silk robe captured the color palette to perfection for this stunning bridal boudoir photo session before the wedding!

Hair and makeup artist StatuSalon gave the bride a luminous glow and chic pink lips to play off her jade green statement earrings. The braided updo left her face free to shine, with beachy waves loose to add the perfect frame.

There is magic everywhere you look at Filoli – the incredible entrance facade and secret garden gate were in full spring bloom for this stunning editorial shoot. If it looks familiar, you may have seen the historic country house in movies like George of the Jungle and The Wedding Planner!

What garden wedding would be complete without floral details! The bride’s flower patterned Sam Edelman heels and green tassel earrings added the perfect amount of whimsical charm to her California chic bridal style.

Walking through the grounds of Filoli Gardens feels like taking a step back in time to an era of grand country estates. Brannan Events & Design balanced the historical beauty of the garden retreat with modern decor, turning the aptly called ‘Wedding Place’, a terraced garden leading to a lily pool, into the ceremony backdrop. A deconstructed greenery and flower arch added just the right on-trend touch, along with geometric black ceremony chairs to play against the vibrant green lawn.

How stunning are these two?? The bride looked California chic in an Alexandra Grecco wedding dress from Lovely Bride San Francisco. The Sawyer Embroidered gown balanced the timeless elegance of a hand beaded design and modern style with a plunge neckline and fluttering cape back. The groom was just as on point with a black velvet jacket and bow tie.

The famed sunken garden was in full spring glory for the reception! This garden retreat wedding reception captured the colors of the grounds in bloom, with dusty pink velvet tablecloths and mid century modern chairs.

Glass and gold botanical centerpieces added to the colorful whimsy of the tabletop decor, along with metallic foil stationery from the table numbers to the menus.

Green tasseled wedding menus lay at each place setting, with glossy black ceramic plates and flatware adding contrast to the velvet La Tavola Linens.

The vibrant color scheme even extended to the drinks! A retro bar alongside the Garden House served blood orange mojitos for a refreshing sip under the Northern California sun.

Black wedding cake, anyone? A flower wall backdrop created a lush setting for this black buttercream dessert by The Speakeasy Baking Co.! The green velvet dessert display table and botanical cake topper with roses and jasmine gave the modern cake a romantic twist.

Turn any corner in Filoli, and you’ll find the most perfect setting for wedding photos! Alice Che Photography found gorgeous backdrops against the wrought iron gates between the formal gardens, and along an avenue of Cypress trees lit with evening sunlight.
