Breezy Beach Cottage Style for a Coastal Wedding

Breezy coastal vibes and beach cottage style were the inspiration for this Laguna Beach wedding inspiration shoot at Terra! De La Planning drew the tan, aqua, and white palette from the restaurant venue to dream up this romantic shoot that would look just as at home in the Hamptons or Nantucket as it does in Southern California! Lovely Light Imagery captured the beach chic details, sea glass accents, and vintage bridal style with light and airy portrait perfection!

These white floral on gold wedding shoes are a great way to add a glamorous touch!

The bride’s style was inspired by vintage styles, from the loose bridal updo by OC Beauty Duo to the high neck wedding dress with ruffled sleeves by Jana Sofia Bridal. The flowing skirt added a breezy feel that was perfect for the Laguna Beach wedding venue!

The low back and lace up detail of the wedding dress could not have been more romantic, with pleated ruffles adding to the beaded lace beauty of the gown!

The wedding ceremony and reception were held at Terra Laguna Beach, an artistic restaurant venue on the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters grounds. The space added to the beach cottage style of the shoot, with a neutral color scheme, reclaimed wood, and string lights overhead for a beachy atmosphere!

The all white wedding flowers added beautiful texture from ruffled ranunculus, sweet peas, dahlias, and iridescent lunaria flowers. Delphinium flowers added the perfect ‘something blue’ to the bride’s bouquet and the groom’s boutonniere!

The ceremony decor by Third and Park included dried grass and lunaria arrangements and aisle runners alongside the venue’s white and tan chairs. The white coastal chic decor beautifully complemented the tan and blue color scheme! The bubble exit for the bride and groom added an iridescent touch!

The unique exterior by architect Don Williamson included a breathtaking futuristic hyperbolic paraboloid rooftop to give Terra Laguna Beach a distinct look. The restaurant kept the essential details of the building and added a bohemian touch to the facade, with reclaimed wood, living greenery walls, and string lighting over the terrace. Vox DJs added to the modern style with a custom monogram GOBO light!

The tabletop decor channeled breezy beach cottage style with a driftwood table, woven rattan chargers, and sea glass escort cards! The white, aqua, and tan decor brought a beachy look along with elegant coastal style.

White flowers, dried grass, and pillar candles added airy decor down the long tables, with gold flatware, earthenware china, and rattan place mats added neutral and earthy accents. Sea glass lettered with each guests’ name and menus by H & L Lovely Creations added just the right amount of aqua green!

Simply Sweet Cakery created a unique white wedding cake, mixing hexagon and round tiers to give it a smooth, modern feel. The white rose and lunaria cake topper finished it off to perfection!

It wouldn’t be a modern bohemian wedding without pampas grass! The Sweetheart Table glowed surrounded by candles and dried grass installations.
