It doesn’t get any more intimate than a wedding for two! Krust Photography planned and photographed this elopement inspiration to celebrate the love between two people and the trend towards a smaller, more intimate wedding. With the Italian-inspired villa of Ashanti Estate as the venue, they brought a little Tuscan countryside style to the Klein Drakenstein Mountain Range near Cape Town, South Africa!
The bride opted for old world elegance in a hand-beaded lace wedding dress by Danielle Margaux. The classic design offered a hint of vintage flair and a low back added an element of fun for the modern but romantic bride. Yvonne Olive played off of the vintage glamour of the dress for the bride’s hair and makeup, with a sideswept curled hairstyle and natural makeup!
Florist Jade Customised Events drew inspiration from the Tuscan-inspired grounds of the Ashanti Estate to create the flower arrangements – the red cobblestones in the formal gardens inspired touches of brick red from berries and orchids, and the cypress trees inspired a deep, dusty green!
The portraits by Krust Photography showcase the importance of a magic hour photo session – that light creates the most heavenly portraits!
Whether you celebrate a wedding for two or opt to include a few close loved ones, this is the perfect reception inspiration for an intimate wedding! All Things Wedding SA added touches of dusty blue to the ivory and green color palette with a rustic farm table and vintage chairs.
Vintage brass and crystal candle holders added elegant metallic touches to the floral table runner with white roses, dried ferns, and rust-red orchids. Scallop-edged cake plates and gold flatware finished off the place settings to perfection!
Sugar and Spice Patisserie created this one-tier wedding cake with a minimalist buttercream design in soft gray, adding touches of dried flowers and grasses to finish the neutral color scheme!
