Trying to find a personal way to blend your style with a boho wedding look? This stunningly creative shoot by SMS Photo CT and Brehant Creations Events is the best way to find that perfect mix! They dreamed up two ways to style this industrial warehouse shoot at The Lace Factory in Connecticut, with stunning gowns from Jacqueline Bridal Kouture to inspire boho brides who want to bring their own personality to their wedding day!
Let’s start with the ceremony – the focal point of the wedding day! It’s So Ranunculus went for contrast with the whitewashed brick walls and airy windows at The Lace Factory to create this modern deconstructed flower arch. Tropical leaves added bright foliage to the backdrop, along with jewel tones of purple and orange that glowed under the Edison bulb chandelier.
The first dress from Jacqueline Bridal Kouture is for the festival bride – it’s the current ‘boho bride’ ideal with a fitted lace wedding dress, the open back contrasting with the long sleeves. Hair and makeup artist Lauren for Blushing Brides Boston made the most of the deep V-back to give the bride a beautifully artistic braided hairstyle, anchoring it with one bright flower for a picturesque touch.
An open aisle lined in greenery turned the industrial warehouse space into an airy loft that perfectly suited this relaxed bohemian look!
This look is as lovely as it gets, with a relaxed feel that still comes across as wedding day ready thanks to the all-lace gown!
Want to marry a more classic wedding look with a touch of bohemian? This lace and tulle dress goes with the flow and combines traditional bridal style with a breezy boho feel. The amazing King Protea bouquet by It’s So Ranunculus adds to the free spirit affect with a colorful coral and yellow floral touch!
Natural light, a King’s table, and wicker basket pendant lights came together to create the incredible reception table! The dramatic event rentals from Ryan Designs felt like a natural fit for the industrial space, while pedestal candlesticks and geometric gold lanterns added to the whimsical decor.
Storeybook Cakes combined the focus colors of yellow and orange into the sunset-inspired wedding cake, using a watercolor effect on the two tiers before they were dressed with air plants and a fuchsia floral topper!
Even a gray day outside couldn’t dampen the excitement – the rainy portrait session resulted in stunning wedding photos against the red brick and ivy exterior of the venue.
The gray skies cast cozy light in through the high windows, illuminating this inviting lounge dominated by a coral velvet couch and wicker furniture! For a fabulous finishing touch, It’s So Ranunculus flipped the ceremony flowers to add a focal element to the reception space!
