Sequins and Sweets for a Chic Pink and Gold Wedding

This sequins and sweets brunch wedding shoot is a treat for the eyes, with a glam pink and gold palette! Yasmin Alesia Photography and Savvy Rose Events created this chic and whimsical shoot to celebrate all things sweet, thanks to a champagne wall, s’mores favors, and a wedding cake that is a work of art! The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum as a venue gave them a blank canvas to bring in modern flower accents and gold sequin tablecloths to add color and sparkle in a modern space. The lovely brides brought it all together in the perfect union of sweets and sweetness!

Instead of traditional bouquets, Aysel Cristian Floral Atelier created flower accessories that each bride could wear! This stunning floral collar made for a stunning statement necklace on the minimalist column gown from Vanessa’s Modern Bride.

Milian Bonillo Beauty gave each bride their own wedding day look, starting with this elegant updo to show off a halter neckline and the bride’s flower necklace.

The signature colors of pink and gold became jewel toned accents for this floral ceremony arch. The fabulous greenery structure added greenery and texture to the unique event space at Chicago’s Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.

This chic blush leather jacket gave one of our brides a stylish look with a personal calligraphy message by The Chicago Calligrapher, ‘wifey for lifey’!

The brides’ modern flower accessories gave their gorgeous individual wedding dresses a pop of color, with whimsical flowers in modern, structural shapes.

How stunning is this reception? The paillette sequin tablecloth created an eye-catching statement for the Sweetheart Table as a sparkling gold accent. Wood and linen vintage furniture from Rustique Swan complemented the feminine design, while the neutral details made sure the glitzy table stayed the focal point.

The modern brush paint and acrylic sign hand lettered by The Chicago Calligrapher added a pop of pink to the glam gold reception decor!

Treats are a must for a brunch reception, and this gorgeous table offered a spread of equally chic sweets! Breakfast foods in adorable miniature created a brunch wedding spread, with mini pancake stacks, quiche, and chocolate drizzled waffle skewers!

S’mores kits from XO Marshmallow provided the perfect favor idea and led right into the dessert and champagne spread to follow brunch!

These pastel and gold donuts are almost too pretty to eat, with a marble stand display as part of the showstopping drinks and desserts! The champagne wall offered a fun twist for the toast, with colorful marshmallow skewers to add a whimsical touch.

How stunning is this cake from Spencer Trygve Cakes! The exquisitely layered cake resembled a work of modern art, with colorful pink and gold brushstrokes to tie in the color scheme.
