Vintage Southern Style Meets Modern Neutral Flowers

Working with a neutral palette can take an artist’s skill to pull off, and that’s such what East Made Co and Intertwine accomplished in this stunning workshop shoot for The Hybrid Collective! With the gracious Nashville manor, Riverwood Mansion, as the backdrop, they brought together fresh greenery, modern flowers, and vintage Southern style in this breathtaking fine art wedding shoot – Rachel Tweggs Photography shared these amazing captures with techniques from the amazing Lauren Fair Photography!

These lovely floral embroidered Bella Belle Shoes combined the muted neutral palette and exquisite floral detailing in store for the rest of the shoot, making them the perfect accessory for this lovely vintage Southern inspiration!

Floral artist Intertwine created a stunning greenery arch for the ceremony backdrop. Delicate shades of taupe, cream and ivory were added by an abundance of wild flowers and white ferns woven into the archway.

Finding the perfect dress for a vintage bride was an easy task with a gown and headpiece by Mira Zwillinger! The gathered Juliette cap veil was dusted with a scatter of crystals to catch the light in these amazing portraits from Rachel Tweggs Photography. The bride’s bouquet blended classic white peonies, spray roses and lilacs with nude roses and phalaenopsis orchids.

The divine wedding dress by Mira Zwillinger dazzled with beaded lace over a structured, strapless bodice. The delicate capelet added an ethereal touch instead of bare shoulders! The groom’s look was pure Southern vintage, with a classic black suit and white tie.

The reception was set at Riverwood Mansion, a gracious Nashville venue that offers the best of classic Southern hospitality. Stylist East Made Co and floral designer Intertwine played with the historic surroundings and a clean, modern style for the table decor to create a fresh and eye-catching design with a focus on texture over color.

The place settings from Please Be Seated created a minimalist color blocking effect reminiscent of modern artwork, with varying shades of white, ivory, and taupe for the geometric napkins and china. White dipped gold flatware gave the decor a subtle metallic accent while blending in with the clean white tablecloth.

The amazing floral centerpieces flowed out of their vessels to create an eye-catching focal point! Bleached white ferns, phalaenopsis orchids, and nude roses added layered textures in a neutral color palette to gorgeous effect.

Trouvaille Bakery embraced the delicacy and romance of the shoot as a whole to create this stunning and sweet wedding cake! A delicate flower and berry topper gave subtle color to the beautiful pale pink layer cake.
