Is there a more perfect venue for a magical Midsummer Night’s Dream wedding than an Italian castle? Cecilia and Giulio planned their destination romance wedding at the incredible Castello del Palagio and every detail lived up to the splendor of the setting! The Tuscan countryside could not have been a more beautiful place to get married, but these two put their own style on every detail, from the dazzling Nicole Spose princess wedding dress to the travel themed details and the garden of romantic peach and pink flowers! Destination wedding planner Wed in Florence made sure it all came together perfectly, while Daniela Nizzoli captured each beautiful, sun-drenched moment!
The bride’s Nicole Spose wedding dress was fit for a princess, with sheer beaded sleeves and crystal embroidery glittering in the full skirt. She looked like an absolute fairy tale with a romantic loose updo courtesy of Bambole, with a flower headpiece to match the peach and pink blooms in her bouquet!
The couple’s florist, Mainardi Addobbi, added romance to their chapel wedding ceremony, with altar decor in an abundance of peonies and roses.
The pair looked move perfect as they left the chapel as husband and wife!
A magic hour portrait session in an olive grove was the epitome of destination romance for this Italian wedding day!
The bride and groom arrived to their castle reception at Castello del Palagio in a vintage car!
They designed their seating chart to reflect their love of travel, with each table representing a city that they loved! New York, Cecilia’s favorite city, featured prominently in their seating arrangement – fitting, since Giulio proposed with a mural he painted of New York!
Their reception in the castle courtyard was nothing short of magical! Cecilia envisioned a Midsummer Night’s Dream wedding, and the enchanting setting was just the start. Hundreds of hanging candles over the long guest tables turned the dinner area into a dream, with vintage silver and crystal adding sparkle to the peach and pink centerpieces.
This is fairy tale wedding style at its best!
The semi-naked cake with summer berries Giovanna Biello was eye-catching all on its own, but a firework display from Pirotecnica Soldi as the couple made their first cut added an extra dazzling detail!
