When it comes to crafting inspiration for a modern fairy tale wedding, Janelle Joy and Array Design knew that the recipe is equal parts romance, dreamy colors, and twinkle lights. The Venue at the Grove is an enchanting oasis in Phoenix, AZ, and it created the perfect setting for this whimsical fairy tale to come to life! A palette of dusty blue and gold, the sweetest first look in a rustic barn, and the most stunning dessert display adorned with a balloon garland added all the elements to create this utterly dreamy inspiration shoot!

Modern Fairy Tale Wedding with Dusty Blue Details

The grove of pecan trees that gives the venue its name was the perfect setting to create this enchanting wedding concept. The dreamy green of early spring and the luminous sunlight filtering through the budding trees made this the perfect location for a modern fairy tale wedding shoot! The barn made for the perfect First Look location, allowing the bride and groom an intimate moment together before making their way to the ceremony. The simplicity of the draped ceremony backdrop was elevated by sunlight streaming through the soft curtains, and the accent of a sweet floral garland with sage green leaves. The soft pink and ivory colors were picked up in the bouquet Array Design designed to complement the bride’s elegant princess dress from Brilliant Bridal.

The gorgeous dusty blue palette took center stage on the rustic farm tables set for the reception! The silk gauze runner and taper candles added a delicate pop of color to antique gold table decor and mercury glass vessels overflowing with more flowers. Even the cake took on the signature color, with a modern geometric wedding cake by Amour de Sucre Bakery with layers in varying shapes and a modern floral accent. The dessert display added a fun and whimsical twist, with a stunning balloon garland in soft pastel shades! For a fabulous finishing touch, Nancy Mantei Events created gold flecked cactus cookies to nod to the Arizona setting!
