Sunshine and a field of blooming summer wildflowers make this rustic wedding day inspiration into something truly special! Katie Jane Photography and Just a Kiss Weddings captured this sweet couple in the rolling hills of Southern California, with sunkissed hills and blooming meadows of wildflowers. Romantic peach, yellow, and blue flowers from The Blooming Bud, antique decor from Out of the Dust Rentals, and a lace Blush by Hayley Paige wedding dress set the scene for this charming country wedding shoot!

The dreamy colors of spring in Southern California inspired the country charm of this shoot, with accents in sunny yellow, dreamy peach, and soft sky blue. The bride carried a bouquet of forsythia, delphinium, anemones, and peach roses that beautifully tied the entire color palette together. The rustic elegance of the wedding flowers added a sweet accent to her Halo gown from Blush by Hayley Paige, with its nude lace bodice and layered tulle skirt. Hair and makeup artist Stacey Alyson finished off the bride’s look with a braided updo that managed the perfect balance between rustic and elegant!

With such a stunning natural setting taking center stage, the team wisely decided to keep the decor to a minimum. The sun-filled bowl of the Santa Ana hills created a natural ceremony backdrop that needed no other embellishments. Out of the Dust Rentals created a beautiful vignette for the Sweetheart Table with an antique table set just for the bride and groom. An ethereal runner and arrangement of summer flowers decorated the barn wood table, set with patterned blue china and lattice chargers accented with peach roses. As the sun began to set and magic hour turned the hills into gold, the bride and groom cuddled on a vintage velvet settee to capture portraits that would last a lifetime!
