I have the privilege of featuring a lot of gorgeously styled shoots, but it’s not often that I get to see them come together! I attended the Fullosophie Style Fete workshop this winter and witnessed this California mission inspired shoot created from the ground up by Jessica Burke and Twigss Floral Studio!
The stunning Spanish hacienda setting of Holman Ranch inspired the look of this shoot, which fell into place with every gorgeous detail. The mother and daughter duo behind Twigss Floral Studio found incredible details to help bring the shoot to life – a vintage rosary and a flamenco-inspired comb opened the door for a dramatic bridal look, which they paired with a gorgeous fuchsia and yellow bouquet. The vibrant florals and flowing black wedding dress made a dramatic statement against the sandstone walls of the ranch house.
Melissa and Addison of Twigss handcrafted the stunning bridal bouquet and centerpieces on site, before opening some of the styling decisions to the attendees. We helped them put together the tableaus that decorated the Head Table in the courtyard, with floral embroidered napkins serving as placemats, slim taper candles in terra cotta pots, and jars of spices to add texture and color. It was incredible to see each shot considered and workshopped before bringing it to life and especially gratifying to be able to share it here.
