Luxe Bohemian Wedding in Jewel Tones

Not only is this luxe bohemian wedding shoot absolutely stunning, but it was created by a number of wedding professionals who have been an enormous part of my career in the event community! Every stunning detail captured by Carlie Statsky Photography, Christine Cater, Edith Meyer and Haute Bride is a feast for the eyes and a gorgeous reminder of what I love about this job!

The rolling golden hills of Carmel Valley Ranch set the scene for an incredible shoot that simply reveled in unexpected modern details. A lace Amsale wedding dress from Los Gatos salon Haute Bride created the perfect boho glam bridal look, with an antique gold pendant showcasing the plunging back. A romantically messy updo and gold linked headpiece attributed to the bride’s effortless style, while turquoise Louboutins and a vintage gold and amethyst ring added a hint of the jewel toned color that pervaded the entire shoot. Incredible designer and floral artist Christine Cater created a fuchsia and blush bouquet of peonies, roses, ranunculus, calla lilies, and ferns, tied with cascading gold velvet tassels for a rich, textural detail.

The luxe reception details called back to the golden velvet grasses carpeting the summer hills. The farm table from Blueprint Studios was laden with crystal candleholders, colorful flowers, and place settings in gold and cobalt ceramic place settings. Acrylic sheets served as both menu and place setting with their legend in elegant gold script. Ghost chairs set around the table were decorated with ferns and flowers to tie the simple modern silhouette into the lush botanical florals on the table. The geometric gold and white cake by Edith Meyer boasted a cascade of ferns and flowers, spilling over the round tabletop to the gold wire frame.

One of the most striking details of the shoot has to be the ceremony itself! Rows of ghost chairs faced the spread of the California hills at sunset – the vista itself would have been striking enough, but the intricately detailed floral runner in an ombre palette absolutely stole the show. The bride and groom faced each other in an enclosing circle of native pampas grass, a gorgeously unexpected detail that celebrated the natural beauty of the Bay Area.
