I have another gorgeous black tie Texas wedding today, thanks to PhotoHouse Films! Callie and Ross had a sweetly opulent affair with true Southern style at the Lois Perkins Chapel in Southwestern University. Their wedding day, coordinated by The Fairytale Effect, was a stunning example of the sweetly opulent style that has been so popular this summer – with lace and crystal details accenting their romantic blush pink, ivory, and gold palette. Callie looked stunning in a romantic lace wedding dress with a perfectly on-trend keyhole back accessorized with a luxe crystal sash. Her lovely maids wore floor-length pink gowns with glittering gold clutches – the perfect attendant gifts – while Ross and his groomsmen looked the part of true Southern in black tuxedos with bow ties!

The February weather made outdoor portraits chilly after too long, things were warm and cozy inside the reception space at San Gabriel Springs Event Center. The elegant barn inspired banquet hall was hung with pale chiffon drapery and twinkling lights to invite guests in. Their tables were set with champagne hued-raw silk linens and centerpieces of blush and ivory in crystal vessels. A Grand Occasion styled round tables with domed centerpieces in lush florals, pillars of candles floating in water, or crystal candelabras set with an abundance of flowers. They alternated with trendy long farm style tables, with a veritable garden of tall cylinder vases and crystal holders running their length. Every place setting was marked with a glass goblet in deep jewel tones and a perfectly blooming rose! The cake table was wonderfully on theme, with the three-tier sculpted buttercream confection adorned with delicately blushing flowers and set atop a crystal dome.

No matter how romantic their reception may have looked, they still knew how to throw an amazing dance party! Live music and the glowing work of Intelligent Lighting Design set the scene for an epic dance party, before Callie and Ross left down a tunnel of sparklers!
