You know it’s going to be a good week when you get to start off with something as phenomenal as this punk princess bride wedding shoot from Maddie K. Doucet Photography & Design! Maddie not only captured the exquisite photos in today’s feature, but she was also the mastermind behind the look and feel of this classic beauty shoot with a modern twist. To realize her vision, she pulled together a phenomenal team of wedding and event professionals from the Chattanooga, TN area, starting with Soirées of Chattanooga. They pulled inspiration from classic Americana motifs – pin up models and 1950’s starlets – and added their own wonderfully updated spin. As a tattooed lady myself, I love that this gorgeous bride wore her tattoos and gauges proudly along with a phenomenal ball gown with layers and layers of raw silk ruffles! Her stunning bridesmaids perfectly exemplified the vintage romance at the core of the shoot, in ethereal floor-length gowns in sweet neutral shades of blush and taupe. The gents looked the part with three piece suits in the perfect Southern summer tan – along with the perfect retro bow tie! Boutique Couture provided all of the attire and accessories to create a perfectly coordinated party! The gorgeous bridal party, phenomenal vintage pieces from Heirlooms Vintage Boutique & Rentals, and romantic lace and gold table would have made for a perfectly stunning shoot on their own, but my favorite part has to be Maddie’s ultimate goal – to capture the happiness and love at the center of every wedding! The true beauty of this incredible shoot is not only in the artistry of the wonderful team that pulled it together, but in the utter joy visible in every shot! Photo Credits: Photography by Maddie K. Love all of the vintage details mixed with modern touches.
Gorgeous dress and LOVE the sparklers!
Gorgeous gowns – love the styles and the colors!
I am loving that dessert table, such a fantastic furniture piece! Mildly obsessed with anything watercolor, ombre or pink so those invites are ridiculously pretty!
Wow, that tattoo is stunning! So lovely to see a shoot perfectly capture the inherent joy and celebration of weddings. I’m really glad to see that showcased along with all of the pretty wedding details here, because at the end of the day – your wedding should be one of the happiest parties in your life!
That dress is just lovely! The decor is perfect for this styled shoot and I love the last images with the sparklers.
