Alyssa and BJ celebrated their engagement in the rain-washed orchard and barn at the Dana Powers House in Southern California. The natural beauty of a SoCal lemon grove would have been a stunning enough location for their portraits, but the barn is also a fabulously rustic venue! How could anyone resist the beautiful, vintage chandeliers?

I love beautiful, well-thought out engagement sessions like this because it provides such a wonderful opportunity to get a sense of a couple prior to their wedding.
