Ooh la la – there is nothing quite like the sparkle of precious gems! Today’s inspiration draws from the luster of emeralds, pink sapphires, and vintage rubies. Natural, outdoors weddings have been all the rage for wedding bloggers and brides alike, so my goal was to translate a luxe design concept into a style suitable for a woodland setting. To temper the high glam factor of the gemstones for an elegantly rustic affair, I brought the emerald tone in with vivid greenery in wild abandon. Vivid fuchsia and plum flowers are the perfect accent for the ferns and garlands we’ll be seeing more of in 2014!

The wedding inspiration is so great and unique!I like the colorful shoot, really perfect! It gives some ideas for my big day! Thanks!
I can’t describe how much I love this board. I think more weddings should have that glam/rustic hybrid. I’m tired of either-or!
I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of that style this year – I can’t wait! That entire shoot by Paula O’Hara is just to die for.
