Do you know what I love the most about modern weddings and the incredible breadth of creativity I get to see every day? There is no wrong way or right way to design a wedding any more. Pastels are perfectly lovely, if they’re your thing, but the wide, wide world of options is open to you. With that in mind, and because I have been racing through the first season of Hannibal, I was inspired by a darkly romantic palette with rich tones and hints of gold.
What I’ve gained from my obsessive speed-watching, other than a serious crush on Hugh Dancy, is an appreciation for this moody, sophisticated palette. Subdued hues make the splashes of rich color all the more effective, and the occasional splash of gold will be dazzling. Detail is key – indulge in the recent wedding trend of creating tableaus to allow plenty of room to play with decorative elements – this is the time to break away from cookie cutter centerpieces and let your individuality shine!

hey… I am wondering what type of flowers are in that bouquet??
It looks like blush roses, burgundy dahlias, cream chrysanthemums, and astilbe – I hope that helps!
