In the mood for drama and glamour? This incredible, creative shoot by Chapeau Eventi channels 1920’s vintage style inspired by the show Peaky Blinders. Stunning antique pieces, an Art Deco-inspired wedding dress, and richly colored flowers added vibrancy and romance to the industrial setting at Fabbrica Saccardo in Northern Italy. Velluto Photography effortlessly shifts between the most ethereal and airy portraits to rich and moody backdrops, always managing to capture the lavish details that went into this stunning shoot!
The plum and seafoam green invitations by Dodo Design & Co brought the glamour of the turn of the century with a custom crest and gold wax seals.
The bride’s look embodied the glamour and allure of the 1920’s, thanks for a silk georgette gown by Couture Hayez Atelier. Sunray pleats added volume to the full skirt and cap sleeves, with hand sewn crystals over the keyhole back for a couture touch of sparkle. Stylist Letizia Cordelia created the perfect hairstyle to show off the crystal spray headpiece by Nea Milano, adding sparkle to the vintage inspired chignon.
The flowers by La Fiorellaia made a dramatic statement as the tone shifted from airy to moody with beautiful skill – she focused on unstructured and asymmetrical floral arrangements focused on bold, deep colors in ruby red and plum. The bride’s bouquet was a celebration of color and texture with a mix of anemone, pale pink and red Anthurium, peach and red roses, red snapdragon, hellebore, and olive tree branches and eucalyptus to add a touch of greenery.
The groom especially took inspiration from the show that inspired this lovely shoot, channeling Cillian Murphy in a lightweight melange weave to evoke classic English tweed. The bespoke suit by Linnèo blended Italian style with English traditionalism. A waistcoat and flat cap completed the 1920’s gentleman’s style!
The spirits table boasted small batch brewed gin by local Italian Fred Jerbis.
The beautiful table decor blended industrial and metallic elements along with antique pieces – handmade English ceramics, gold cutlery, crystal glassware, linen napkins, and elegant taper candles added to the rich juxtaposition on top of a scarred metal table. The sea mist and gold colors of the table decor added subtle elegance to the exuberant and colorful floral centerpiece.
The white ceramic dinnerware from Tableset Luxury Rentals was mixed with modern handmade ceramic plates. The napkins from Allegoria Textile Delights were made of 100% pure stone-washed linen. Cut crystal glassware and modern gold flatware played up the mix of eras represented on the table.
The cake display is a thing of beauty! The moody gray setting was illuminated by dusky lavender silk linens draped over a vintage table. Clusters of pillar candles created a glowing scene for the work of art created by Cake Studio – alternating layers of beautifully textured white fondant evoked Art Deco glamour intermixed with organic marbled and wood grain tiers. The sugar flower and vine accents tied the beautiful layers together!
