The search for modern wedding floral inspiration is over with this stunning Real Wedding reception from Taralynn Lawton Photography and Studio Mondine. The elegant tented wedding at Sea Ranch Lodge on the Sonoma coast belied the unique decor that made this wedding so incredible. Clusters of geodes, animal skulls, and butterflies under bell jars added unexpected edge to the chic bohemian wedding.
While their ceremony was private, Quinn and Ando’s personal style sent ripples throughout their wedding day from start to finish. Studio Mondine worked closely with the couple to create a unique and fresh design that suited their vision. A soft palette and wild, romantic flowers stood side by side with edgy leather accents, raw gemstones, and ethically found animal skulls. The bride’s long sleeve lace dress perfectly suited a modern bohemian bride, with unique textures from her bouquet of clematis, spotted begonia, and feathery strands of locally foraged pampas grass. Leather strips and hand dyed ribbon wrapped around the hand tied bouquet to give it a unique and edgy finish.
A rustic seating chart guided guests to their seats outside the seaside tent. Neat letterpress escort cards awaited their nearest and dearest on the table adorned with chunks of geodes and preserved butterflies under glass cloches. Farm tables boasted modern table numbers in a clean sans serif font, juxtaposed with overflowing flowers in black vessels. The rustic farm tables were set with neutral earthenware plates and minimalist menus to keep the decor simple and allow the botanical flowers to take center stage. Overhead, the white walls of the tent were given texture and dimension from greenery garlands and hanging animal skulls to finish off the unique decor.
