Sunshine and Lavender Fields Wedding Styled Shoot

The sweet spring sunshine from today’s lavender fields wedding from Ashley Cook Photography is the perfect balm to chilly November rolling in. The idyllic fields of the McKenzie River Lavender Farm, nestled into the gentle ring of the Oregon hills, provided a lush and welcoming setting for a shoot filled with vintage lace, romantic bohemian details, and sun-drenched lavender.

Local wedding planner Event Crush captured the utter romance of the lavender farm with delicate styling given just a hint of bohemian chic. The bride’s wedding dress featured an elaborately shirred bodice over a sweeping skirt of tightly pleated organza, topped with a loose braid and a sweet flower crown. Hair and Makeup Artist Kelsey Glassow created the perfect bridal look for a romantic outdoor wedding with natural bridal makeup with just a hint of warm color. Lavender buds from the farm accented the sweet pastel bouquet and floral crown by Dream Design, with more fragrant sprigs creating a halo for the lemon poppyseed cake.

An expansive Sweetheart Table was set up with a view of the fields and draped with an ivory lace tablecloth. Moss globes and mercury glass vessels overflowing with romantic garden arrangements, alongside vintage floral china at the place settings. Pink and purple blooms in the floral arrangements added to the soft wash of color from the rows of lavender. As the sun started to sink behind the hills, filling the rows of lavender bushes with dusty golden light, this incredible team captured enchanting Magic Hour portraits.
