Something Blue and Bold and Beautiful Wedding Shoot

Consider me smitten with today’s shoot, with something blue, something bold, and many things beautiful! Rachel Solomon Photography and LVL Weddings & Events envisioned a shoot that put a fresh spin on a bride’s ‘something blue’ with a vibrant and modern color scheme in a truly stunning setting!

Rich shades of blue – from dusty blue to cobalt to French blue – formed the focus of this stunning and eye-catching wedding palette. Vibrant crimson peonies added a jolt of rich red to the tone on tone design, adding a beautiful dose of color to the rustic charm of The Country Club at DC Ranch. The native Arizona stones of the European-inspired hacienda created a warm natural backdrop for the bold colors and ethereal textures of the shoot.

The bride’s stunning crimson and white bouquet beautifully offset the ethereal romance of her Jenny Yoo gown, from its flowing tulle skirt to the delicately beaded cap sleeves. A graceful side chignon by Jessica Fierro and vintage inspired chandelier earrings complemented the sweetness and elegance of the bride’s gown, while a stunning cathedral veil turned the romance of the look into an unforgettable statement. Bridesmaids in elegant floor length gowns of dusty blue and navy carried bouquets of red and fuchsia with just a hint of blush to add to the romance.

An enormous farm table set under the eaves of the historic hacienda was the perfect way to follow the intimate ceremony set under a cascade of jewel bright leaves. The vintage-inspired lace table runner and elegant taper candles added a classical air to the chic modern place settings with glassware in cobalt and smoky quartz and bold hand lettered menus. Even the petite one layer cake from A Bake Shop managed to make a dramatic statement, with a rich blue and gold palette and a wreath of olive branches and burgundy roses!
