Kirstyn Marie Photography and Hannah Hildebrandt Events created something truly beautiful when they came together to create this relaxed glam Southern barn wedding! The rustic touches and refined sense of Southern elegance created what I think of as the epitome of country weddings – chic, pastoral, and naturally stunning. The barn at Back Bay Farms served as the perfect canvas to bring their vision to life, with a lofty timbered ceiling lit by a brilliant stained glass window. The towering red brick structure leant warmth to their soft palette of ivory, peach, and blush as well as lending its refined charm to the shoot.
It all starts, of course, with the dress. A full-skirted princess ball gown was the perfect, romantic choice for the relaxed elegance they were trying to capture, especially when paired with a loose waterfall braid and a delicately jeweled sash! Kelly Gish Floral Designs picked up their relaxed glam styling with her hand-tied bouquet of peach and pink roses, but the floral runner is what truly stands out! Lush locally foraged greenery created a jewel bright belt for ivory hydrangeas, hypericum berries, and more roses. Naturally shed antlers complemented the gold chargers and cutlery laid out on the distressed door-turned-table, and lace napkins added a romantic touch.
In a shoot full to bursting with beautiful details, the wedding cake display still manages to stand out! Wooden crates and vintage suitcases formed a display that made a statement, adorned with vintage lace draperies to soften the design. A petite naked cake topped the stack, crowned with pastel flowers beautifully finished it off!
