French Antique Inspired Bridal Shoot in Texas

Soft spring colors and French antique decor make today’s bridal inspiration shoot one for the ages! Callie Manion Photography envisioned a shoot that celebrated old world beauty in the new world, with elegant Parisian style in the heart of Texas. Heirloom decor and bridal accessories give this shoot a timeless feel, with lush wedding flowers from Moss Floral Design.

Callie truly embraced the ideology of this blog when she envisioned a shoot that transcended typically Texan styling and infused an Old World French influence into the design. The Trinity Institute stood in for Continental architecture, with an elegant stone facade and weathered interior. Luxurious natural textures, from the raw silk adorning the Sweetheart Table to the bride’s ethereal tulle gown, gave the shoot its intrinsic elegance, coupled with a romantic palette of dove gray and blush.

The elegant illusion lace and flowing tulle of the bride’s A-line Watters wedding dress played an enormous role in creating timeless bridal style in the midst of dilapidated elegance. Moss Floral Design complemented the dreamy sweep skirt and subtle romance of the lace bodice with a bouquet of blush roses and ivory peonies accented with black cherry scabiosa. Trailing mauve ribbons added a romantic touch to the vintage lines of the dress. A delicate diamond hair chain and oval hoop earrings from Shapiro Diamonds added just the right amount of sparkle to the bride’s side chignon, playing up the low back of her dress and finishing off the style set by her antique engagement ring from Amulette Heirloom.
