My favorite season is on gorgeous display in today’s DC cherry blossom wedding shoot! Film photographer Connie Balluff captured this ethereal spring portrait session under the blooming trees surrounding the Jefferson memorial. A garden rose and peony bouquet made by Darling and Daughters Floral a crop top lace wedding dress from Shop Gossamer added vintage bohemian style to the elegant marble columns and drifts of spring blossoms.
DC Cherry Blossom Wedding Shoot on Film
This gorgeous film portrait session captured the beauty of a couple in love, thanks to engaged pair Breauna and Michael who stood in as the bride and groom. Michael showcased a stylish yet casual groom’s look in navy slacks and suspenders, with a preppy striped tie and a cherry blossom boutonniere. Breauna’s gorgeous crop top and chiffon skirt from Shop Gossamer were the epitome of modern bohemian wedding style, while the high neck and lace sleeves added a vintage touch. Her oversized bouquet of pastel spring flowers and foraged cherry blossom stems added to the ethereal nature of the setting along the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC. The gorgeous reservoir is the focal point for the yearly National Cherry Blossom festival, with the delicate blossoms inspiring the ephemeral romance showcased in every frame of this stunning shoot.
