There’s something for everyone to love in today’s fun and romantic brewery wedding shoot from Nicole Marie Photography and Posh Petals! Brewery weddings were conceived not only as a fun, new venue that brought an urban rustic edge to wedding decor, but a great way to get grooms more excited about wedding planning. Let’s be serious, though, there are plenty of women who enjoy themselves a good beer and would love the idea of a brewery wedding all on their own. I happen to be one of them – sometimes there’s nothing better than an ice cold craft beer, and breweries have truly stepped up their game when it comes to creating a unique, signature space to enjoy good company and good drinks. Since Grand Rapids, Michigan was voted 2013’s Beer City, USA for the second year in a row, the Grand Rapids Brewing Company was the perfect place to host this incredible inspiration shoot for a brewery wedding with a romantic boho feel!

The interior of the Brewing Company is a perfect example of what breweries have to offer as a wedding venue – rich dark wood serves as a beautiful backdrop, accented by the glitter of bottles and the charm of iron hardware. Posh Petals contrasted that traditionally masculine setting with abundant florals in soft hues like blush and peach with pops of brilliant jewel tones. She created a floral runner for one of the breweries massive wooden tables in petite heather blooms with peonies, orchids, tulips, and anemones to add fullness and color. Lanterns in brightly colored glass and hints of gold in the napkin rings and on the floral patterned plates added rich jewel hues. A streamer banner in soft shades of peach, ivory, and gold, made for a gorgeous addition to the central focus of the brewery – the bottle wall. The bride’s incredible ethereal blush gown with Grecian inspired ruffled pleats added a beautiful touch to the dark environment – I love the jewel like tulip adorning her shoulder as living jewelry!
