I think if I had to plan everything all over again today, my dream elopement venue would be a vintage greenhouse. Light filtering in between vines curling over weathered wood, cozy inside with my loved ones while flowers and candles create the sweetest ambiance. Lavender fields blooming outside, adding sweet perfume to the night as the glass panes overhead let in the starlight…: Faith Roper Photography and Nicole Colwell Photography clearly channeled my inner elopement dreams for this wedding inspiration shoot at The White Sparrow barn in Texas!
Are you as obsessed with Greenhouse Weddings as I am?
Every Little Letter took the romance-drenched idea for this cozy elopement shoot an manifested it in an invitation suite! The dusky lavender paper and elegant lettering was a perfect match for the charming setting in a vintage greenhouse, while botanical illustrations spoke to the fields of lavender flowers blooming just outside. Add in hellebore, lisianthus, ranunculus, and roses from Olive Grove Design to create the most exquisite flatlays with the stationery and bride’s shoes, and you have a truly epic set of wedding day memories!
Planner and designer Allora & Ivy Event Co looked to the delicacy of the vintage greenhouse to create a soft and romantic garden wedding design. The figure hugging beaded lace Theia wedding dress from Lovely Bride Dallas featured a high neckline, long sleeves, and open cowl back to create the perfect vintage bridal look with romantic 1920’s style!
The sweetest elopement moments can be the smallest – keepsake vow notebooks are a wonderful way to preserve the memory of your wedding ceremony even if there aren’t any attendants!
Hair stylist and makeup artist Kiss Her Face Aesthetics let the bride’s natural curls take center stage for this gorgeous wedding day look, playing up her beaming eyes and adding a rose kissed lip color perfect for the vintage botanical ambiance of the greenhouse.
Could this sweet dinner party set up be any more charming? The vintage greenhouse became the perfect setting for a cozy reception dinner, with a farm table and natural wood chairs to add a French Country elegance to the dining table.
Elegantly knotted pink linen napkins created a casual place setting on flowered china from Beautiful Event Rentals. Champagne and wine flowed freely, adding to the burgundy and pink decor on the rustic tabletop. With vines twining around the windows and adding a botanical flower effect to the reception, the floral team kept the reception flowers minimal with antique compote centerpieces.
Shannon Star Cakes infused all the charm of the vintage greenhouse venue into this darling cake! A mix of square and round tiers with a semi-naked crumb coat and gold brush details were all the design needed to create this petite cake! Pink and berry floral accents gave it the perfect cake topper touch.
What could be more romantic than a lavender field bridal session! Our gorgeous bride showed off the draped back of her vintage-inspired wedding dress and the stunning engagement ring from The True Gem Company!
Workshop host Nicole Colwell Photography led a couple’s photos session in the blooming lavender, where Faith Roper Photography captured these fine art film elopement shots!
Cheers to this utterly romantic way to host an intimate elopement and the beautiful celebrations that we can still hold safely!
