When it comes to the perfect bayside affair, I think today’s stunning navy blue and coral nautical wedding might just be it! Shannon Moffit Photography captured this chic seaside wedding with loving attention to Vicki and Brendan’s classic nautical details.
From the rope and anchor inspired invitations, the crisp blue and white stripes, and the tide map that displayed their escort cards, the rich seaside heritage of Virginia Beach was steeped into every aspect of their wedding day! Even their venue, eclectic waterfront seafood restaurant, One Fish Two Fish, spoke to the shipshape nature of their wedding day! The open-air reception looked picture perfect with low arrangements of coral and white roses in silver julep cups adorning crisp navy draped tables, along with white painted lanterns and handmade table numbers accented with a sailor’s knot. The knot motif was perfectly echoed in a petite gold version on their wedding cake from Bliss Bakery.
The spot-on styling of Vicki and Brendan’s big day began with the gorgeous bride and her ‘maids themselves – Vicki picked floor-length column gowns for herself and her three bridesmaids. The bridesmaids wore the couple’s signature color of navy blue and carried bouquets of textured white flowers and silvery green leaves, accented with hypericum berries to add just a hint of coral. Vicki wore a sleek lace sweetheart wedding dress with just a bit of sparkle from a crystal sash and radiant jewelry she found on Rent the Runway. She carried a classic clutch of white and coral roses from their florist, Catherine’s Distinctive Floral Designs.
