I would have loved this lavender garden wedding shoot all on its own, but the fact that it showcases one of my favorite places makes it all the more gorgeous. Samantha Kirk Photography and Gavita Flora teamed up to celebrate the beauty of Carmel Valley at Bernardus Lodge in a stunning fine art shoot. Lavender Garden Wedding Shoot in Carmel Valley

Gavita Flora envisioned a shoot that captured the grace and beauty of the pocket of Carmel Valley that Bernardus Lodge inhabits. The Tuscan influenced landscape of the intimate resort inspired the laid back and natural charm that infused each stylistic decision in the shoot. A romantic garden arbor for the ceremony echoed the wild beauty of the rose arbors that dominate the gardens at Bernardus, while a palette of purple and ivory echoed the fields of lavender blooming around the estate.

An elegant lace wedding dress by Watters embodied the fine art style of the romantic garden florals. The bride carried a mauve and ivory bouquet thick with summer greenery to complement the blooming grounds that surrounded the gorgeous couple. An enormous kings table set under the cypress trees overflowed with taper candles, a delicate silk runner, and romantic centerpieces of roses and passionflower. Sprigs of local lavender and calligraphy escort cards marked each place setting, beckoning guests to the intimate table set in the grandeur of Carmel Valley.
