I’m loving the boards commissioned by Napa Valley Linens! Blush is everywhere right now and I thought a fun way to maximize the lovely, feminine color was to play with tone on tone and add in the gorgeous metallic of rose gold!

The Central Coast of California is wrapped in a thick blanket of fog more often than not - drive from Big Sur to San Francisco on a summer day and find ivory sand and seaglass waves hung with a veil of gray. Coral poppies and deep green Cypress trees provide a splash of color under the pewter skies.

Forget the Oscars - Fashion’s biggest night of the year was this past Monday, the famous Met Ball. Much has been made of Kim Kardashian’s couch camouflage gown but for me the look of the night was the stunning J. Mendel gown on Chanel Iman. The bold black & white stripes, asymmetrical gown, and hot pink clutch inspired this board!

A texture inspired board I made for Napa Valley Linens! I absolutely fell in love with the Ana Parzych Windswept cake featured in the latest edition of The Knot, not to mention that Chantilly lace Marchesa gown!

Plum & Pearl - striking, stylish, and darkly romantic; an ideal design for a bride who wants a chic day with a minimum of fuss and frills but doesn’t want to sacrifice beauty. The regal color of plums is offset by creamy pearl and a wealth of paler purples to make the rich tones pop. Keep it simple and prepare to be swept off your feet.

My best friend is also the world’s best Maid of Honor and what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t help her out with a little inspiration? Our lucky bride will be celebrated with a Tuscan themed bridal shower! The garden she’ll be holding it it in has a lovely arbor over the main table and the dangling glass globes look lovely with flowers in them for the day time event!
Sunflowers will carry the theme of the day, and simple, country inspired designs are the perfect fit. Guests will enjoy Italian delicacies like bruschetta and tiramisu, not to mention a Bellini station!

How about a little trip to Provence? Imagine sipping a cool glass of wine on the terrace, the lazy afternoon sunlight gilding the lavender fields, the distant chime of church bells the only sound other than the droning of fat bees drunk on the heady perfume of the flowers. Guess where I want to be right now?
Since I can’t pick up and travel halfway across the world to France, I had to get creative and come up with an inspiration board to capture a little piece of Provence instead. Ideal for an al fresco dinner, use clean lines, campagne touches, and herbs and flowers to bring a little piece of France to your rehearsal dinner or reception!

First of all - congratulations!
I can’t believe that I didn’t find more of the peach & wine color combination out there because those two make a stunning combination. Peach itself is sweet, perfect for a country event, but the addition of a rich, warm wine tone elevates it to a more sophisticated level. I would play up the fairy tale aspect by adding gold and (just a little) glitter.
There are few flowers that are naturally the right shade for a wine color - black cherry calla lilies, burgundy poppies, the Night Owl rose - but you can play up that part of the color palette with smaller touches. Find just the right shade of berry hued glassware, wrap napkins in a scrap of burgundy lace, use the darker flowers as accents to make an abundance of peach, blush, and cream flowers pop.

How better a way to celebrate St. Paddy’s than with an Irish themed wedding? An Irish wedding isn’t what most people envision - it’s not all shamrocks, green beer, and rainbows. These days a true Irish wedding is just as sweet and stylish as anywhere else - but that doesn’t mean you can’t add an Irish twist to your big day.
Evoke the Emerald Isle by infusing Old-World Glamour with the charm of wild country flowers. A graceful manor or castle setting would make the perfect pairing with a vintage inspired dress, village fete worthy cake, and a garland hung reception hall. While everyone is inclined to think of green for an Irish inspired wedding, most Irish brides let the verdant landscape act as their backdrop and pick complementary colors to pair with the warm, dreamy light of Ireland.
Include hand-fasting with a velvet rope or exchange of Claddagh rings to your ceremony, offer guests hand-stitched handkerchiefs as favors, and make sure to serve Irish whiskey along with an assortment of beers - Guinness is a classic but other ales and stouts will be sure to set the scene as well. Most of all, make sure to plan a rousing céilidh to celebrate!

You sound like you have things pretty well figured out! I would pick the gorgeous berry color of Belle’s dress as your focus color, with white, silver, and gray as accents - along with small touches of regal blue for the Beast! The warmth of the berry will help offset the icy decor everywhere else, like a lacy snowflake motif on candleholders or piles of crystal snow on the tables. Think ‘frost’, ‘ice’ and ‘glitter’ as you plan, to help give everything that magical winter feel.
Baby’s breath and frosted branches make the perfect centerpieces, along with an assortment of votive holders. A silver sequined table runner or linen for the cake table is the perfect way to mimic sparkling snow. Above all, make sure to keep the details magical to make your day feel like a fairy tale!
