I’m loving the boards commissioned by Napa Valley Linens! Blush is everywhere right now and I thought a fun way to maximize the lovely, feminine color was to play with tone on tone and add in the gorgeous metallic of rose gold!

I can’t wait to see your inspiration boards for Mindy Kaling’s gorgeous Met Ball ensemble - here’s mine! The gorgeous colors made me think of jewels and I love that the rich purple and bright teal can be used to read classic or punched with with modern shapes to read up to the minute!

The Central Coast of California is wrapped in a thick blanket of fog more often than not - drive from Big Sur to San Francisco on a summer day and find ivory sand and seaglass waves hung with a veil of gray. Coral poppies and deep green Cypress trees provide a splash of color under the pewter skies.

Forget the Oscars - Fashion’s biggest night of the year was this past Monday, the famous Met Ball. Much has been made of Kim Kardashian’s couch camouflage gown but for me the look of the night was the stunning J. Mendel gown on Chanel Iman. The bold black & white stripes, asymmetrical gown, and hot pink clutch inspired this board!

A texture inspired board I made for Napa Valley Linens! I absolutely fell in love with the Ana Parzych Windswept cake featured in the latest edition of The Knot, not to mention that Chantilly lace Marchesa gown!

Remember this Justin Alexander gown that had all my brides atwitter? It’s picture perfect at this Northern California wedding by the ladies of Coastside Couture! The vibrant turquoise & coral color scheme is a fabulous match for the fun & flirty tea-length dress!

The best kind of styled shoot is the one that barely looks styled at all - all the elements come together so organically that you wouldn’t change a thing! That’s where this lovely ombre inspired shoot comes in! That fabulous marigold color in the linens and flowers really carries the shoot for one of the best rustic inspirations I’ve seen yet!

Plum & Pearl - striking, stylish, and darkly romantic; an ideal design for a bride who wants a chic day with a minimum of fuss and frills but doesn’t want to sacrifice beauty. The regal color of plums is offset by creamy pearl and a wealth of paler purples to make the rich tones pop. Keep it simple and prepare to be swept off your feet.

A sweet spring wedding that’s practically a work of art - especially that cake! The palatial greenhouse in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens serves as an airy glass castle full of blooming peonies.

Be prepared to be swept off your feet by this incredible styled shoot. Delicately sparkling linens set the stage for a table that would make a modern day Cinderella feel like she had stepped into a dream.

Choosing just a sampling from this breathtaking wedding proved to be a Herculean task - every inch of this affair is infused with artistry and glamour. My favorite element - the blooming linen on the cake table. That is a couture piece if I’ve ever seen one!
Don’t miss the full wedding - it took up three full posts! Part One, Part Two, and Part Three can be found at Wedluxe!

Jay and Daisy may be the 1920’s characters du jour but this fabulous event team were inspired by a different notorious pair of the era - Bonnie and Clyde. Who knew crime could look so sweet?
